We're actually using it to support our recruiting and marketing efforts. I use it a lot in the microlearning space. So we'll actually create 60- to 90-second training videos that we can send out to our dispersed workforce to introduce them to new ideas, which we can then supplement with additional ...materials. Every time I use it, I try to learn a new technique or a new feature that allows me to expand my repertoire and get my learners more engaged. We've done things where we've embedded videos within videos. I've had an animated character on the screen talking about a live action video. And we'll draw in a video monitor on the screen and have the live action video playing while the animated character on the screen talks about the live action video. So we're blending different types of effects, whether it's live action video, real photographs, all in with the animation. Makes it kind of fun. |

Just being able to tell a story and having it be meaningful and impactful and relevant and funny sometimes. It's just a tool that really helps you to create that. We started branding our eLearning. And so our CEO did an animated video for the introduction. And we called it the intro and the outro.... And each eLearning that we do, we always package it with our animated intro and outro. Everybody loves the animated videos. They all want their own animated character. But the cool thing is that we use people in the company as subject matter experts. So now we've got a hook. If you want an animated character, you have to help us with a training video. It's definitely just kind of brought out the storyteller in me. And it's brought out a sense of my creativity that I've just never experienced before. |
